The Arabic text and the translations come from our previous collection: English from hadithapi.com, German and Turkish machine-translated (Gemini) and unreviewed. A new translation from the Arabic with the chain of narration will follow.
I offered two rak'ahs of prayer before the Maghrib prayer (i. e. obligatory) during the time of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. I (narrator al-Mukhtar bin Fulful) asked Anas رضی اللہ عنہ : Did the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم se you ? He replied: Yes, but he neither commanded us nor forbade us (to do so).
