Chapter 8 · Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat): Detailed Injunctions about Witrمَنْ قَالَ هِيَ مِنَ الطُّوَلِ
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْبَطِينِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: أُوتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعًا مِنَ الْمَثَانِي الطُّوَلِ، وَأُوتِيَ مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام سِتًّا، فَلَمَّا أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ رُفِعَتْ ثِنْتَانِ وَبَقِيَ أَرْبَعٌ.
