Chapter 9 · Zakat (Kitab Al-Zakat)حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الصَّدَقَةِ يَعْتَدُونَ. قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: رَفَعَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ.

We said Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم the collectors of sadaqah collect more than is due from us. Abu Dawud said Abd Al Razzaq narrated this tradition from Mamar attributing it to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.
