The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم prohibited taking the find of pilgrims. Ibn Wahb said: One should leave the find of a pilgrim till its owner finds it. Ahmad (bin Salih) said: Ibn Wahb said (meaning): He should have the lost items of pilgrims until his owner find it."
