Chapter 15 · Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad)فِي الْمُشْرِكِ يُسْهَمُ لَهُ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ الْفُضَيْلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نِيَارٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَ: يَحْيَى إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ لَحِقَ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُقَاتِلَ مَعَهُ فَقَالَ: ارْجِعْ، ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا فَقَالَ: إِنَّا لَا نَسْتَعِينُ بِمُشْرِكٍ.

A man from the polytheists accompanied the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم to fight along with him. He said “Go back. Both the narrators (Musaddad and Yahya) then agreed. The Prophet said “We do not want any help from a polytheist. ”
