Chapter 21 · Funerals (Kitab Al-Jana'iz)مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ مِنْ تَطْهِيرِ ثِيَابِ الْمَيِّتِ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ لَمَّا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ دَعَا بِثِيَابٍ جُدُدٍ، فَلَبِسَهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُبْعَثُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ الَّتِي يَمُوتُ فِيهَا .

It Is Recommended To Purify The Clothes Of The Dying Person At The Time Of Death
When the time of his death came, he called for new clothes and put on them. He then said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: A deceased will be raised in the clothes in which he died.
