Chapter 26 · Knowledge (Kitab Al-Ilm)فِي التَّشْدِيدِ فِي الْكَذِبِ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ بَيَانِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ، قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ أَبُو بِشْرٍ، عَنْ وَبَرَةُ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ: مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تُحَدِّثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْهُ أَصْحَابُهُ ؟ فَقَالَ: أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَانَ لِي مِنْهُ وَجْهٌ وَمَنْزِلَةٌ، وَلَكِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ .

I asked al-zubair رضی اللہ عنہ : What prevents you from narrating traditions from the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as his Companions narrate from him. But I heard him say: He who lies about me deliberately will certainly come to his abode in Hell.
