Chapter 34 · Clothing (Kitab Al-Libas)فِي السَّوَادِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: صَنَعْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بُرْدَةً سَوْدَاءَ فَلَبِسَهَا فَلَمَّا عَرَقَ فِيهَا وَجَدَ رِيحَ الصُّوفِ، فَقَذَفَهَا، قَالَ: وَأَحْسِبُهُ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ تُعْجِبُهُ الرِّيحُ الطَّيِّبَةُ .

I made a black cloak for the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and he put it on; but when he sweated in it and noticed the odour of the wool, he threw it away. The narrator said: I think he said: He liked good smell.
