Chapter 41 · Types of Blood-Wit (Kitab Al-Diyat)حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ التَّمَّارِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: الْأَصَابِعُ سَوَاءٌ، قُلْتُ: عَشْرٌ عَشْرٌ، قَالَ: نَعَمْ ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: رَوَاهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْغَالِبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مَسْرُوقَ بْنَ أَوْسٍ،وَرَوَاهُ إِسْمَاعِيل، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي غَالِبٌ التَّمَّارُ، بِإِسْنَادِ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ، وَرَوَاهُ حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ أَبِي صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ، بِإِسْنَادِ إِسْمَاعِيل.

Abu Dawud said: Muhammad bin Jafar transmitted it from Shubah, from Ghalib, saying: I heard Masruq bin Aws ; and Ismail transmitted it, saying: Ghalib al-Tammar transmitted it to me through the chain of Abu al-Walid ; and Hanzlah bin Abi Safiyyah transmitted it from Ghalib through the chain of Ismail.
