Chapter 43 · General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)فِي إِمَاطَةِ الأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي بُرَيْدَةَ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: فِي الْإِنْسَانِ ثَلَاثُ مِائَةٍ وَسِتُّونَ مَفْصِلًا، فَعَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَتَصَدَّقَ عَنْ كُلِّ مَفْصِلٍ مِنْهُ بِصَدَقَةٍ، قَالُوا: وَمَنْ يُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ: النُّخَاعَةُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ تَدْفِنُهَا، وَالشَّيْءُ تُنَحِّيهِ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْ فَرَكْعَتَا الضُّحَى تُجْزِئُكَ .

Removing harmful things from the road
I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: A human being has three hundred and sixty joints for each of which he must give alms. The people asked him: Who is capable of doing this ? He replied: It may be mucus in the mosque which you bury, and something which you remove from the road; but if you do not find such, two rak'ahs in the forenoon will be sufficient for you.
