Chapter 2 · Prayer (Kitab Al-Salat)
Sahih

Not reworked yet

The Arabic text and the translations come from our previous collection: English from hadithapi.com, German and Turkish machine-translated (Gemini) and unreviewed. A new translation from the Arabic with the chain of narration will follow.

Alqamah said that Abdullah Ibn Masud رضی اللہ عنہ caught hold of his hand saying that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم caught hold of his (Ibn Masud's) hand and taught him the tashahhud during prayer. He then narrated the (well known ) tradition (of tashahhud). This version adds: When you say this or finish this, then you have completed your prayer. If you want to stand up, then stand, and if you want to remain sitting, then remain sitting.
