Chapter 16 · Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، أَنَّ عَمَّهُ ـ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ بِالنَّاسِ يَسْتَسْقِي لَهُمْ، فَقَامَ فَدَعَا اللَّهَ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ تَوَجَّهَ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ، وَحَوَّلَ رِدَاءَهُ فَأُسْقُوا.

"The Prophet (ﷺ) went out with the people to invoke Allah for rain for them. He stood up and invoked Allah for rain, then faced the Qibla and turned his cloak (inside out) and it rained."

’Abbād ibn Tamīm berichtete, dass sein Onkel – der einer der Gefährten des Propheten (ﷺ) war – ihm mitteilte, dass der Prophet (ﷺ) mit den Leuten hinausging, um für sie Regen zu erbitten. Er stellte sich hin und flehte Allah im Stehen an. Dann wandte er sich in Richtung der Qibla und kehrte seinen Umhang um. Daraufhin wurden sie mit Regen versorgt.

Abbâd ibn Temîm’in amcası (ki o, Nebi'nin (ﷺ) Ashabından idi) aktardı ki: Nebi (ﷺ) insanlar için yağmur duası (İstiskâ) yapmak üzere onlarla birlikte dışarı çıktı. Ayakta durdu ve Allah'a dua etti. Sonra Kıble’ye yöneldi ve ridasını (omuz örtüsünü) ters çevirdi. Bunun üzerine onlara yağmur ihsan edildi.
