Chapter 3 · Knowledgeإِثْمِ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
The sin of one who lies about the Prophet ﷺ
قُلْتُ لِلزُّبَيْرِ إِنِّي لاَ أَسْمَعُكَ تُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَمَا يُحَدِّثُ فُلاَنٌ وَفُلاَنٌ. قَالَ أَمَا إِنِّي لَمْ أُفَارِقْهُ وَلَكِنْ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَىَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ".

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ جَامِعِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ
Translation
Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr reported: I said to az-Zubayr: “I do not hear you narrating from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as so-and-so and so-and-so narrate.” He said: “Indeed, I never parted from him; but I heard him say: ‘Whoever lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire.’”

Abdullah ibn az-Zubair berichtete: Ich sagte zu az-Zubair: „Ich höre dich nicht vom Gesandten Allahs ﷺ berichten, wie der und der berichten.“ Er sagte: „Wahrlich, ich habe mich nie von ihm getrennt; aber ich hörte ihn sagen: ‚Wer über mich lügt, der soll seinen Sitzplatz im Feuer einnehmen.‘“

Abdullah b. Zübeyr (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Zübeyr'e: “Falan ve falanın anlattığı gibi senin Resûlullah'tan ﷺ hadis anlattığını işitmiyorum.” dedim. Şöyle dedi: “Bilesin ki ben ondan hiç ayrılmadım; fakat onu şöyle buyururken işittim: ‘Kim benim adıma yalan söylerse cehennemdeki yerine hazırlansın.’”
