Chapter 19 · Shortening the Prayers (At-Taqseer)إِذَا لَمْ يُطِقْ قَاعِدًا صَلَّى عَلَى جَنْبٍ
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ طَهْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ الْمُكْتِبُ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ كَانَتْ بِي بَوَاسِيرُ فَسَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ " صَلِّ قَائِمًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَقَاعِدًا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَسْتَطِعْ فَعَلَى جَنْبٍ ".

Whoever cannot offer Salat while sitting, can offer Salat while lying on his side
I had piles, so I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the prayer. He said, "Pray while standing and if you can't, pray while sitting and if you cannot do even that, then pray Lying on your side."

Imran ibn Husayn, möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein, berichtete: Ich litt an Hämorrhoiden (Bawāsīr). Daraufhin fragte ich den Propheten (ﷺ) bezüglich des Gebets. Er sprach: „Bete stehend; und falls du es nicht vermagst, dann sitzend; und falls du selbst das nicht vermagst, dann auf deiner Seite [liegend].“

İmran İbn Husayn (r.a.) şöyle rivayet etti: Bende basur (bavâsir) hastalığı vardı. Bunun üzerine Peygamber (ﷺ)’e namaz kılma hakkında soru sordum. O da şöyle buyurdu: “Ayakta namaz kıl. Eğer buna gücün yetmezse, oturarak [kıl]. Eğer buna da gücün yetmezse, yan üzere [yatarak kıl].”
