Chapter 24 · Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَخَذَ الرَّايَةَ زَيْدٌ فَأُصِيبَ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا جَعْفَرٌ فَأُصِيبَ، ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ فَأُصِيبَ ـ وَإِنَّ عَيْنَىْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَتَذْرِفَانِ ـ ثُمَّ أَخَذَهَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ مِنْ غَيْرِ إِمْرَةٍ فَفُتِحَ لَهُ "

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Zaid took over the flag and was martyred. Then it was taken by Jafar who was martyred as well. Then `Abdullah bin Rawaha took the flag but he too was martyred and at that time the eyes of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) were full of tears. Then Khalid bin Al-Walid took the flag without being nominated as a chief (before hand) and was blessed with victory."
Deutsch
Anas ibn Malik (möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein) berichtete: Der Prophet (ﷺ) sprach: „Zaid nahm die Flagge und wurde getroffen [d.h. fiel als Märtyrer]. Dann nahm sie Ja'far und wurde getroffen. Daraufhin nahm sie 'Abdullah ibn Rawaha und wurde ebenfalls getroffen – und wahrlich, die Augen des Gesandten Allahs (ﷺ) vergossen Tränen. Dann nahm sie Khalid ibn al-Walid, ohne dass er dazu befohlen worden war (ohne vorherige Ernennung), und ihm wurde der Sieg gewährt.“

Enes bin Malik (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Nebi (ﷺ) buyurdu ki: "Sancağı Zeyd aldı ve şehit edildi. Sonra onu Cafer aldı ve o da şehit edildi. Ardından sancağı Abdullah bin Ravaha aldı ve o da şehit edildi – o sırada Resûlullah'ın (ﷺ) gözleri yaşlarla doluyordu. Daha sonra sancağı Halid bin Velid, emirsiz (önceden bir komutanlık emri olmaksızın) olarak aldı ve (böylece) ona fetih nasip edildi."
