Chapter 24 · Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)الْحَنُوطِ لِلْمَيِّتِ
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ وَاقِفٌ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِعَرَفَةَ إِذْ وَقَعَ مِنْ رَاحِلَتِهِ فَأَقْصَعَتْهُ ـ أَوْ قَالَ فَأَقْعَصَتْهُ ـ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " اغْسِلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ، وَكَفِّنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْنِ، وَلاَ تُحَنِّطُوهُ وَلاَ تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُلَبِّيًا ".

The perfuming of a dead body with Hanut
While a man was at `Arafat (for Hajj) with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) the fell down from his Mount and broke his neck (and died). So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Wash him with water and Sidr and shroud him in two pieces of cloth and neither perfume him nor cover his head, for Allah will resurrect him on the Day of Resurrection and he will be saying 'Labbaik."
Deutsch
Ibn Abbas (radiyallahu anhuma) berichtete: Während ein Mann mit dem Gesandten Allahs (ﷺ) in Arafat stand, fiel er von seinem Reittier herab, welches ihn sodann tötete. Daraufhin sprach der Gesandte Allahs (ﷺ): „Wascht ihn mit Wasser und Sidr (Lote-Blättern) und hüllt ihn in zwei Gewänder. Parfümiert ihn nicht und bedeckt sein Haupt nicht, denn wahrlich, Allah wird ihn am Tag der Auferstehung im Zustand des Talbiyah-Sprechens (Labbaik) erwecken.“

İbn Abbas (r.a.) şöyle buyurdu: Bir adam Arafat’ta Allah’ın Resûlü (ﷺ) ile birlikte durmakta iken devesinden düştü ve deve onu [hızla] öldürdü. Bunun üzerine Allah Resûlü (ﷺ) şöyle buyurdu: “Onu su ve sidr (Arabistan kirazı/lote yaprağı) ile yıkayınız. Onu iki giysi ile kefenleyiniz. Ona güzel koku sürmeyiniz ve başını örtmeyiniz. Çünkü Allah onu Kıyamet Günü Telbiye getiren (Labbaik diyen) bir halde diriltecektir.”
