Chapter 24 · Funerals (Al-Janaa'iz)مَا يُنْهَى مِنْ سَبِّ الأَمْوَاتِ
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ تَسُبُّوا الأَمْوَاتَ فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ أَفْضَوْا إِلَى مَا قَدَّمُوا ". وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْقُدُّوسِ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ. تَابَعَهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ وَابْنُ عَرْعَرَةَ وَابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ.

What is forbidden as regards abusing the dead
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Don't abuse the dead, because they have reached the result of what they forwarded." Abdullah bin Abdul Quddoos and Muhammad bin Anas have reported it from Amash. Ali bin AL-jad and Muhammad bin Ararah and Ibn-e-Adi have corroborated him from shoba.
