The Arabic text and the translations come from our previous collection: English from hadithapi.com, German and Turkish machine-translated (Gemini) and unreviewed. A new translation from the Arabic with the chain of narration will follow.
Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to bed, he used to recite Surat-al-Ikhlas, Surat-al-Falaq and Surat-an- Nas and then blow on his palms and pass them over his face and those parts of his body that his hands could reach. And when he fell ill, he used to order me to do like that for him. Hadrat Aishah رضی اللہ عنہا said: When the prophet ﷺ got ill, he ﷺ commanded to do so. Younus narrates that he saw Ibn-e-Shihab doing so while going to his bedding.
