حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ الْمَاجِشُونُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّ الَّذِي، زَادَ التَّأْذِينَ الثَّالِثَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ حِينَ كَثُرَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُؤَذِّنٌ غَيْرَ وَاحِدٍ، وَكَانَ التَّأْذِينُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حِينَ يَجْلِسُ الإِمَامُ، يَعْنِي عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ.

One Mu'adh-dhin on Friday
The person who increased the number of Adhans for the Jumua prayers to three was `Uthman bin `Affan رضی اللہ عنہ and it was when the number of the (Muslim) people of Medina had increased. In the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) there was only one Mu'adh-dhin and the Adhan used to be pronounced only after the Imam had taken his seat (i.e. on the pulpit).

Es berichtete uns Abū Nuʿaym, der sagte: Es berichtete uns ʿAbdul-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Salama al-Mādschisūn, von az-Zuhrī, von as-Sā'ib ibn Yazīd: Die Person, welche den dritten Adhān am Freitag vermehrte, war ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān – möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein – und dies geschah, als die Bevölkerung von Madīnah anwuchs. Zur Zeit des Propheten (Friede sei mit ihm) gab es nur einen Mu’adh-dhin. Und der Adhān am Freitag erfolgte, wenn der Imām sich setzte, d. h. auf der Kanzel (Minbar).

Bize Ebû Nuaym anlattı, dedi ki: Bize Abdülaziz b. Ebî Seleme el-Mâcişûnî anlattı, o da Zührî’den, o da Sâib b. Yezîd’den rivayet etti ki: Cuma günü üçüncü ezanı artıran kişi, Medine halkı çoğaldığı zaman Osman İbn Affân’dı (Allah ondan razı olsun). Nebi’nin (s.a.v.) tek bir müezzini vardı. Cuma günü ezan ise, İmam minbere oturduğu zaman okunurdu.
