Chapter 12 · Friday Prayerالْجُلُوسِ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ عِنْدَ التَّأْذِينِ
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَنَّ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ التَّأْذِينَ الثَّانِيَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَمَرَ بِهِ عُثْمَانُ حِينَ كَثُرَ أَهْلُ الْمَسْجِدِ، وَكَانَ التَّأْذِينُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حِينَ يَجْلِسُ الإِمَامُ.

To sit on the pulpit while Adhan is pronounced
`Uthman bin `Affan رضی اللہ عنہ introduced the second Adhan on Fridays when the number of the people in the mosque increased. Previously the Adhan on Fridays used to be pronounced only after the Imam had taken his seat (on the pulpit).

Uns berichtete Yahya ibn Bukair, er sagte: Uns berichtete Al-Laith, von 'Uqail, von Ibn Schihab, dass As-Sa'ib ibn Yazid ihm berichtete, dass der zweite Adhan am Freitag von Uthman angeordnet wurde, als die Zahl der Leute in der Moschee zunahm. Zuvor fand der Adhan am Freitag nur statt, wenn der Imam (auf der Kanzel) Platz genommen hatte.

Yahya ibn Bukeyr bize anlattı, dedi ki: Leys bize, o Ukail’den, o İbn Şihab’dan, o da es-Saib ibn Yezid’den rivayet ettiğine göre, mescitteki cemaat çoğalınca, Cuma günü ikinci ezanı okutmayı Osman (r.a.) emretmiştir. Önceleri Cuma günü ezan, sadece İmam (minbere) oturduğu zaman okunurdu.
