Chapter 13 · Fear Prayerالصَّلاَةِ عِنْدَ مُنَاهَضَةِ الْحُصُونِ وَلِقَاءِ الْعَدُوِّ
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُبَارَكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ جَاءَ عُمَرُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ، فَجَعَلَ يَسُبُّ كُفَّارَ قُرَيْشٍ وَيَقُولُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا صَلَّيْتُ الْعَصْرَ حَتَّى كَادَتِ الشَّمْسُ أَنْ تَغِيبَ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " وَأَنَا وَاللَّهِ مَا صَلَّيْتُهَا بَعْدُ ". قَالَ فَنَزَلَ إِلَى بُطْحَانَ فَتَوَضَّأَ، وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ بَعْدَ مَا غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى الْمَغْرِبَ بَعْدَهَا.

On the day of the Khandaq `Umar رضی اللہ عنہ came, cursing the disbelievers of Quraish and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have not offered the `Asr prayer and the sun has set." The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "By Allah! I too, have not offered the prayer yet. "The Prophet (ﷺ) then went to Buthan, performed ablution and performed the `Asr prayer after the sun had set and then offered the Maghrib prayer after it."

Jabir ibn Abdullah (möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein) berichtete: Am Tag der Grabenschlacht (Khandaq) kam Umar (möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein) und begann, die Ungläubigen der Quraisch zu verfluchen. Er sagte: „O Gesandter Allahs, ich habe das Nachmittagsgebet (Asr) nicht verrichtet, bis die Sonne fast untergegangen wäre.“ Der Prophet (Friede sei mit ihm) antwortete: „Bei Allah! Auch ich habe es noch nicht gebetet.“ Daraufhin ging der Prophet hinunter nach Buthan, verrichtete die Gebetswaschung (Wudu) und betete das Asr-Gebet, nachdem die Sonne bereits untergegangen war. Danach verrichtete er das Maghrib-Gebet.

Cabir İbn Abdullah (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Hendek Savaşı günü Ömer (r.a.) geldi ve Kureyş kâfirlerine lanet etmeye başladı. Şöyle dedi: “Ey Allah’ın Elçisi! Güneş batmak üzereyken henüz İkindi (Asr) namazını kılamadım.” Nebi (s.a.s.) şöyle buyurdu: “Allah’a yemin olsun ki, ben de henüz onu kılmadım.” Bunun üzerine (Nebi) Buthan’a indi, abdest aldı ve güneş battıktan sonra İkindi namazını kıldı, ardından da Akşam (Mağrib) namazını kıldı.
