Chapter 8 · Chapter Regarding Funerals
Daʿif

The Arabic text and the translations come from our previous collection: English from hadithapi.com, German and Turkish machine-translated (Gemini) and unreviewed. A new translation from the Arabic with the chain of narration will follow.

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), Abu Bakr and ‘Umar رضی اللہ عنہما did not give us so much leeway in anything as they did with regard to the prayer for the deceased,” meaning that there was nothing affixed.
