Chapter 29 · The Chapter on Hajj Ritualsحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: أَتَانِي جِبْرِيلُ فَأَمَرَنِي، أَنْ آمُرَ أَصْحَابِي أَنْ يَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالْإِهْلَالِ .

It was narrated from Khallad bin Sa’ib, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Jibra’il came to me and told me to command my Companions to raise their voices when reciting the Talbiyah.”
