It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that Hafsah, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is the matter with people who have exited Ihram when you have not exited your Ihram?’ He said: ‘I have applied something to my head to keep my hair together, and I have garlanded my sacrificial animal, so I will not exit Ihram until I have offered my sacrifice.’”
