تَخْفِيفِ الصَّلاَةِ وَالْخُطْبَةِ
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ قَصْدًا وَخُطْبَتُهُ قَصْدًا.

Keeping the prayer and khutbah short
I used to pray with the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and both his prayer and sermon were of moderate length.
