Chapter 9 · The Book of Prayer - Fridayو حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أُخْتٍ لِعَمْرَةَ قَالَتْ أَخَذْتُ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ مِنْ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ بِهَا عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ.

I memorised (surah) Qaf, by the glorious Qur'an from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) on Friday for he recited it on the pulpit on every Friday.
