Chapter 14 · The Book of Zakatالدُّعَاءِ لِمَنْ أَتَى بِصَدَقَتِهِ
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، ح وحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُرَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ، قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ» فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي، أَبُو أَوْفَى بِصَدَقَتِهِ، فَقَالَ: «اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى».

The supplication for the one who brings Charity
It was the common practice of the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) that when the people brought to him sadaqa he blessed them: O Allah, bless them. So when Abu Aufa رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ brought to him Sadaqa he (the Holy Prophet) said: O Allah, bless, the posterity of Abu Aufa رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ .
