Chapter 17 · The Book of Pilgrimageحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَيَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ - قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَخْبَرَنَا، وَقَالَ الْآخَرُونَ: - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَنْ يُهِلُّوا مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَأَهْلَ الشَّامِ مِنَ الْجُحْفَةِ، وَأَهْلَ نَجْدٍ، مِنْ قَرْنٍ. وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا: وَأُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ».

"The Messenger of Allah commanded the people of Al-Madinah to (being the Talbiyah) from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-Sham from Al-Juhfah and the people of Najd from Qarn." 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما) said: ''And I was told that he said: 'The people of Yemen should (being the Talbiyah) from Yalamlam.'''
