Chapter 17 · The Book of Pilgrimageوحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، حَدَّثَنِي عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ: «عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي تَمَتُّعِهِ بِالْحَجِّ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ، وَتَمَتُّعِ النَّاسِ مَعَهُ» بِمِثْلِ الَّذِي أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

The Messenger of Allah's ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) followed 'Umrah with Hajj (Tamattu'). And the people did Tamattu' with him, as was informed to me by Salim bin Abdullah from Abdullah رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ from the Messenger of Allah's ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ).
