Chapter 17 · The Book of Pilgrimageاسْتِحْبَابِ الْمَبِيتِ بِذِي طَوًى عِنْدَ إِرَادَةِ دُخُولِ مَكَّةَ وَالاِغْتِسَالِ لِدُخُولِهَا نَهَارًا
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى وَهُوَ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَاتَ بِذِي طَوًى حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ، ثُمَّ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ» قَالَ: وَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ سَعِيدٍ حَتَّى صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ، قَالَ يَحْيَى: أَوْ قَالَ: حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ.

جب مکہ میں داخل ہونے کا ارادہ ہو تو ذی طویٰ میں رات گزارنا اور داخل ہونے سے پہلے غسل کرنا اور دن میں داخل ہونا مستحب ہے۔
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed overnight in Dhutuwa until morning, then he entered Makkah. He said "'Abdullah used to do that." In the report of (one of the narrators) Ibn Saeed it says: "Until he prayed Subh." Yahya said: "Or he said: 'Until morning came."'
