Chapter 17 · The Book of Pilgrimageوحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، ح وحَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأُمَوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يَقُولُ: «نَحَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ نِسَائِهِ» وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بَقَرَةً فِي حَجَّتِهِ.

Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) sacrificed (animals) on behalf of his wives, and in the hadith transmitted by Ibn Abu Bakr (the words are): A cow on behalf of 'A'isha رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا on the occasion of the Hajj.
