Chapter 37 · The Book of Governmentحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ مُهَاجِرِ بْنِ مِسْمَارٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَنَّهُ أَرْسَلَ إِلَى ابْنِ سَمُرَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ، حَدِّثْنَا مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ حَاتِمٍ.

It was narrated from 'Amir bin Sad that he sent word to Ibn Samura al-'Adawi saying: "Tel us what you heard from the prophet ﷺ." He said: I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) say..." and he mentioned a Hadith like that of Hatim (no. 4711).
