Chapter 40 · The Book of Drinkو حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِتَمْرٍ فَجَعَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْسِمُهُ وَهُوَ مُحْتَفِزٌ يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَكْلًا ذَرِيعًا وَفِي رِوَايَةِ زُهَيْرٍ أَكْلًا حَثِيثًا.

There were brought to Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) dates. He distributed them in the state that he had been sitting upright (in an easy posture) and he had also been eating them a (bit) quickly.
