Chapter 41 · The Book of Clothes and Adornmentالتَّوَاضُعِ فِي اللِّبَاسِ وَالِاقْتِصَارِ عَلَى الْغَلِيظِ مِنْهُ وَالْيَسِيرِ فِي اللِّبَاسِ وَالْفِرَاشِ وَغَيْرِهِمَا
حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَأَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا مِمَّا يُصْنَعُ بِالْيَمَنِ وَكِسَاءً مِنْ الَّتِي يُسَمُّونَهَا الْمُلَبَّدَةَ قَالَ فَأَقْسَمَتْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُبِضَ فِي هَذَيْنِ الثَّوْبَيْنِ.

I visited A'isha رضی اللہ عنہا and she brought out for us the coarse lower garfnent (of Allah's Messenger) made in Yemen and clothes made out of Mulabbada cloth, and she swore in the name of Allah that Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) died in these two clothes.
