The Arabic text and the translations come from our previous collection: English from hadithapi.com, German and Turkish machine-translated (Gemini) and unreviewed. A new translation from the Arabic with the chain of narration will follow.
The name of Juwairiya رضی اللہ عنہا (the wife of the Holy Prophet ﷺ) was Barra (Pious). Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) changed her name to Juwairiya and said: I did not like that it should be said: He had come out from Barra (Pious). The hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Abi 'Umar is slightly different from it.
