Chapter 43 · The Book of Greetingsقَتْلِ الْحَيَّاتِ وَغَيْرِهَا
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلِ ذِي الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ، فَإِنَّهُ يَلْتَمِسُ الْبَصَرَ وَيُصِيبُ الْحَبَلَ».

Killing Snakes Etc.
Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) commanded the killing of a snake having stripes over it, for it affects eyesight and miscarries pregnancy.
