Chapter 47 · The Book of Virtuesي صِفَةِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَحْسَنَ النَّاسِ وَجْهًا .
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ، يَقُولُ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا مَرْبُوعًا بَعِيدَ مَا بَيْنَ الْمَنْكِبَيْنِ عَظِيمَ الْجُمَّةِ إِلَى شَحْمَةِ أُذُنَيْهِ عَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَمْرَاءُ مَا رَأَيْتُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ».

Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) was of medium height, having broad shoulders, with his hair hanging down on the lobes of his ears. He put on a red mantle over him, and never have I seen anyone more handsome than Allah's Apostle ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ).
