Chapter 48 · The Book of the Merits of the Companionsفَضَائِلِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ رضى الله عنهما
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ الشَّهِيدِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، لِابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ: أَتَذْكُرُ إِذْ تَلَقَّيْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ «فَحَمَلَنَا، وَتَرَكَكَ».

Abdullah bin Jafar رضی اللہ عنہ said to Ibn Zubair رضی اللہ عنہ : Do you remember (the occasion) when we three (i.e. I, you and lbn 'Abbas رضی اللہ عنہ ) met Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) and he mounted us (on his camel) but left you? He said: Yes.
