Chapter 50 · The Book of Destinyحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِهْرَامَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِ يُونُسَ وَابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِمَا غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبٍ وَمَعْقِلٍ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ.

A similar hadith (as no. 6762) was narrated from Az-Zuhri with the chain of narrators of Yunus and Ibn Abi Dhi'b, except that in the Hadith of of Shu'aib nd Mu'qil it says: "He was asked about the offspring of the idolaters."
