Chapter 48 · Chapter on Tafsirحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ قَزَعَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ ثُوَيْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَى سورة الفتح آية 26، قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، قَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مَرْفُوعًا إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قَزَعَةَ، قَالَ: وَسَأَلْتُ أَبَا زُرْعَةَ عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ مَرْفُوعًا إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

Narrated At-Tufail bin Ubayy bin Ka'b: from his father, from the Prophet (ﷺ) (regarding this Ayah): 'And made them stick to the word of Taqwa (48:26).' He (ﷺ) said (the word is): La Ilaha Illallah.
