Kapitel 14 · Fasting (Kitab Al-Siyam)مَنْ يَقُولُ صُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ كُلَّهُ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ الْمُهَلَّبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: لَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ إِنِّي صُمْتُ رَمَضَانَ كُلَّهُ وَقُمْتُهُ كُلَّهُ . فَلَا أَدْرِي أَكَرِهَ التَّزْكِيَةَ، أَوْ قَالَ: لَا بُدَّ مِنْ نَوْمَةٍ أَوْ رَقْدَةٍ.

Whoever Said: "Indeed I Fasted All Of Ramadan"
The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: One of you should not say: I fasted the whole of Ramadan, and I prayed during the night in the whole of Ramadan. I do not know whether he disliked the purification; or he (the narrator) said: He must have slept a little and taken rest.
