Kapitel 37 · Trials and Fierce Battles (Kitab Al-Fitan Wa Al-Malahim)حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ: ايْمُ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ السَّعِيدَ لَمَنْ جُنِّبَ الْفِتَنَ إِنَّ السَّعِيدَ لَمَنْ جُنِّبَ الْفِتَنِ إِنَّ السَّعِيدَ لَمَنِ جُنِّبَ الْفِتَنَ وَلَمَنِ ابْتُلِيَ، فَصَبَرَ فَوَاهًا .

I swear by Allah, I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم say: The happy man is he who avoids dissensions: happy is the man who avoids dissensions; happy is the man who avoids dissensions: but how fine is the man who is afflicted and shows endurance.
