Das Gebet zu einer Säule hin
كُنْتُ آتِي مَعَ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ فَيُصَلِّي عِنْدَ الأُسْطُوَانَةِ الَّتِي عِنْدَ الْمُصْحَفِ. فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا مُسْلِمٍ أَرَاكَ تَتَحَرَّى الصَّلاَةَ عِنْدَ هَذِهِ الأُسْطُوَانَةِ. قَالَ فَإِنِّي رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَتَحَرَّى الصَّلاَةَ عِنْدَهَا.

حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ
Übersetzung
Yazid ibn Abi Ubaid berichtete: Ich pflegte mit Salama ibn al-Akwa' (in die Moschee) zu kommen, und er betete bei der Säule, die beim Koranexemplar steht. Da sagte ich: „O Abu Muslim, ich sehe, dass du gezielt bei dieser Säule betest.“ Er sagte: „Ich habe nämlich gesehen, dass der Prophet ﷺ gezielt bei ihr betete.“
Anmerkung zur Übersetzung: Gemeint ist das Koranexemplar (Mushaf), das in der Moschee des Propheten ﷺ aufbewahrt wurde. Abu Muslim ist die Kunya von Salama ibn al-Akwa'.

Yazid ibn Abi Ubayd reported: I used to come with Salamah ibn al-Akwa', and he would pray by the pillar that is near the Mushaf. I said, “O Abu Muslim, I see you deliberately seek to pray by this pillar.” He said, “I saw the Prophet ﷺ deliberately seeking to pray by it.”
Anmerkung zur Übersetzung: The Mushaf is the copy of the Qur'an kept in the mosque of the Prophet ﷺ. Abu Muslim is the kunyah of Salamah ibn al-Akwa'.

Yezîd b. Ebû Ubeyd şöyle rivayet etti: Seleme b. Ekva' (r.a.) ile birlikte (mescide) gelirdim. O, Mushaf'ın yanındaki direğin yanında namaz kılardı. “Ey Ebû Müslim! Görüyorum ki bu direğin yanında namaz kılmayı özellikle gözetiyorsun” dedim. O da: “Çünkü ben Nebî'yi ﷺ onun yanında namaz kılmayı özellikle gözetirken gördüm” dedi.
