Kapitel 37 · The Book of Governmentبَيَانِ قَدْرِ ثَوَابِ مَنْ غَزَا فَغَنِمَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَمْ
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هَانِئٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ غَازِيَةٍ تَغْزُو فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَيُصِيبُونَ الْغَنِيمَةَ، إِلَّا تَعَجَّلُوا ثُلُثَيْ أَجْرِهِمْ مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ، وَيَبْقَى لَهُمُ الثُّلُثُ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يُصِيبُوا غَنِيمَةً، تَمَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ».

The reward of those who fought and acquired spoils of war and those who did not acquire spoils of war
The Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: A troop of soldiers who fight in tile way of Allah and get their share of the booty receive in advance two-thirds of their reward in the Hereafter and only one-third will remain (to their credit). If they do not receive any booty, they will get their full reward.
