Kapitel 48 · The Book of the Merits of the Companionsمِنْ فَضَائِلِ طَلْحَةَ وَالزُّبَيْرِ رضى الله عنهما
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: نَدَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ، فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ، ثُمَّ نَدَبَهُمْ، فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ، ثُمَّ نَدَبَهُمْ، فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيٌّ وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ».

The Virtues Of Talhah And Az-Zubair (RA)
I heard Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) exhorting people on the Day of the Battle of the Ditch to fight. Zubair رضی اللہ عنہ said: I am ready (to participate). He then again exhorted and he again said: I am ready to participate. Thereupon Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) said: Behold. for every Prophet there is a helper and my helper is Zubair رضی اللہ عنہ .
