Kapitel 58 · The Book of Tribulations and Portents of the Last Hourحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ إِسْحَقُ أَخْبَرَنَا و قَالَ ابْنُ حُجْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ اجْتَمَعَ حُذَيْفَةُ وَأَبُو مَسْعُودٍ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ لَأَنَا بِمَا مَعَ الدَّجَّالِ أَعْلَمُ مِنْهُ إِنَّ مَعَهُ نَهْرًا مِنْ مَاءٍ وَنَهْرًا مِنْ نَارٍ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ نَارٌ مَاءٌ وَأَمَّا الَّذِي تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ مَاءٌ نَارٌ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَأَرَادَ الْمَاءَ فَلْيَشْرَبْ مِنْ الَّذِي يَرَاهُ أَنَّهُ نَارٌ فَإِنَّهُ سَيَجِدُهُ مَاءً قَالَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ هَكَذَا سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ.

'I am more knowledgeable bout what the Dhajjal will have with him. He will have a river of water and a river of fire, but that which you think is water is fire. Whoever among you sees that and wants the water , let him drink from that which he thinks is fire, for he will find it to be water.'" Abu Masud رضی اللہ عنہ said: "This is what I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say."
