Chapter 14 · Fasting (Kitab Al-Siyam)فِي شَهَادَةِ الْوَاحِدِ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ هِلاَلِ رَمَضَانَ
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ يَعْنِي الْجُعْفِيَّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ الْمَعْنَى، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَأَيْتُ الْهِلَالَ، قَالَ الْحَسَنُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: يَعْنِي رَمَضَانَ، فَقَالَ: أَتَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: أَتَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: يَا بِلَالُ، أَذِّنْ فِي النَّاسِ فَلْيَصُومُوا غَدًا .

Regarding The Testimony Of A Single Person About Seeing The Crescent Of Ramadan
A bedouin came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and said: I have sighted the moon. Al-Hasan added in his version: that is, of Ramadan. He asked: Do you testify that there is no god but Allah? He replied: Yes. He again asked: Do you testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah? He replied: Yes. and he testified that he had sighted the moon. He said: Bilal, announce to the people that they must fast tomorrow.

Ibn 'Abbas berichtete, dass ein Beduine zum Propheten (ﷺ) kam und sagte: „Ich habe die Mondsichel [des Ramadan] gesichtet.“ Der Prophet (ﷺ) fragte ihn: „Bezeugst du, dass es keinen Gott gibt außer Allah?“ Er antwortete: „Ja.“ Er (ﷺ) fragte weiter: „Bezeugst du, dass Muhammad der Gesandte Allahs ist?“ Er antwortete: „Ja.“ Daraufhin sprach der Prophet (ﷺ): „O Bilal, rufe unter den Menschen aus, dass sie morgen fasten sollen.“

İbn Abbas (r.a.) rivayet ettiğine göre bir bedevi Peygamber Efendimiz’e (ﷺ) gelerek: „Hilali [Ramazan hilalini] gördüm“ dedi. Resûlullah (ﷺ) ona: „Allah'tan başka ilah olmadığına şehadet eder misin?“ diye sordu. Bedevi: „Evet“ dedi. „Peki, Muhammed'in Allah'ın Resulü olduğuna şehadet eder misin?“ diye sordu. O yine: „Evet“ dedi. Bunun üzerine Efendimiz (ﷺ): „Ey Bilal, insanlara yarın oruch tutmalarını ilan et!“ buyurdu.
