Chapter 41 · Types of Blood-Wit (Kitab Al-Diyat)حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَنْ خَصَى عَبْدَهُ خَصَيْنَاهُ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ، وَحَمَّادٍ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد: وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ مُعَاذٍ.

Through the same chain of narrators as mentioned before, i.e. Samurah reported the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as saying: If anyone castrates his slave, we shall castrate him. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition like that of Sh'ubah and Hammad. Abu Dawud said: Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi transmitted it from Hisham like the tradition of Muadh.
