Chapter 15 · Witr Prayerالْوِتْرِ فِي السَّفَرِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي فِي السَّفَرِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ، حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ، يُومِئُ إِيمَاءً، صَلاَةَ اللَّيْلِ إِلاَّ الْفَرَائِضَ، وَيُوتِرُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ.

Offering prayers of Witr while on a journey
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer (Nawafil) prayers on his Rahila (mount) facing its direction by signals, but not the compulsory prayer. He also used to pray witr on his (mount) Rahila.

Der Prophet (Friede sei mit ihm) pflegte auf Reisen die Gebete auf seinem Reittier zu verrichten, wohin auch immer es ihn trug, indem er durch Andeutung (Imaa) signalisierte. Dies galt für die Nachtgebete (Nawafil), nicht aber für die Pflichtgebete (Fara'id). Auch das Witr-Gebet verrichtete er auf seinem Reittier.

Nebi (sallallahu aleyhi ve sellem), yolculukta iken binek hayvanı onu nereye yöneltirse yöneltsin, farz namazlar dışındaki (nafile) gece namazlarını bineği üzerinde, ima ile (baş ve vücut hareketleriyle) kılardı. Vitir namazını da yine bineği üzerinde kılardı.
