Chapter 16 · Invoking Allah for Rain (Istisqaa)مَنِ اكْتَفَى بِصَلاَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ فِي الاِسْتِسْقَاءِ
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ هَلَكَتِ الْمَوَاشِي وَتَقَطَّعَتِ السُّبُلُ. فَدَعَا، فَمُطِرْنَا مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ تَهَدَّمَتِ الْبُيُوتُ وَتَقَطَّعَتِ السُّبُلُ، وَهَلَكَتِ الْمَوَاشِي فَادْعُ اللَّهَ يُمْسِكْهَا. فَقَامَ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَالأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ ". فَانْجَابَتْ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ انْجِيَابَ الثَّوْبِ.

Whoever To invoke Allah for rain in the Jumu'ah prayer
A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "Livestock are destroyed and the roads are cut off." So Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) invoked Allah for rain and it rained from that Friday till the next Friday. The same person came again and said, "Houses have collapsed, roads are cut off, and the livestock are destroyed. Please pray to Allah to withhold the rain." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (stood up and) said, "O Allah! (Let it rain) on the plateaus, on the hills, in the valleys and over the places where trees grow." So the clouds cleared away from Medina as clothes are taken off .

Anas [ibn Malik] berichtete: Ein Mann kam zum Propheten (ﷺ) und sagte: „Das Vieh ist zugrunde gegangen und die Wege sind unterbrochen.“ Daraufhin flehte der Prophet (ﷺ) [Allah] an, und es regnete auf uns von [diesem] Freitag bis zum nächsten Freitag. Dann kam derselbe Mann erneut und sagte: „Die Häuser sind eingestürzt, die Wege sind unterbrochen und das Vieh ist zugrunde gegangen. Bitte flehe Allah an, Er möge den Regen zurückhalten.“ Da stand der Prophet (ﷺ) auf und sprach: „O Allah! [Lass ihn fallen] auf die Hügel, die kleineren Erhebungen/Felsen, die Täler und die Orte, wo die Bäume wachsen.“ Daraufhin zogen sich die Wolken von Medina weg, so wie ein Gewand entfernt wird.

Enes (r.a.) şöyle dedi: Bir adam Nebi’nin (ﷺ) yanına geldi ve dedi ki: "Hayvanlar telef oldu ve yollar kesildi." Bunun üzerine [Peygamber] dua etti ve biz, o Cumadan diğer Cumaya kadar yağmurla sulandık. Sonra adam tekrar geldi ve dedi ki: "Evler yıkıldı, yollar kesildi ve hayvanlar telef oldu. Allah’a dua et de [yağmuru] tutsun/durdursun." Bunun üzerine Nebi (ﷺ) kalktı ve şöyle buyurdu: "Allah’ım! (Yağmuru) tepelere, küçük dağlara/yüksek yerlere, vadilere ve ağaç biten yerlere [yönelt]." Bunun üzerine bulutlar, Medine’den bir elbise sıyrılır gibi dağılıp gitti.
